Steve started his career with “big 10” firms Andersen (now Accenture), Cap Gemini, Wipro and IBM, leading mixed teams comprised of both clients and consultants for companies of all sizes in life sciences, manufacturing, medical device and automotive.
With in-depth experience of domestic and global operations, Steve has developed a body of knowledge on achieving successful transformations that stand the test of time.
After many years of helping businesses disappointed with their returns on transformational initiatives, Steve has developed innovative approaches to driving organizational change, both strategically and holistically. He helps clients drive the “Organizational Ownership” of large scale initiatives to the working models, hence accelerating the achievement of targeted business returns.
Steve incorporates his “one size does not fit all” approach to developing change management strategies and plans, as each company and situation is unique. He starts with an assessment of the stakeholders’ awareness and confidence in the initiative, and pairs this assessment with state of the art methodologies to construct an effective change strategy roadmap.
This tailored approach adheres to the mantra of “do it with them, not to them” and results in increased, accelerated adoption rates. Most importantly, the new ways of working become part of the fabric of the organization, ensuring that the change will last.
Steve began his career with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) before moving to management consulting with leading firms including Cap Gemini, Cambridge Technology Partners, Wipro and IBM, as program manager and executive coach. He led the successful delivery of M&A integration, compliance, strategic transformations and a variety of other business challenges.
A leader of Wipro’s Global Change Management practice, Steve developed change strategies and led transformation execution efforts for many companies across multiple industries including life sciences, government, manufacturing and medical devices. He coached leaders who elected to execute the change strategies themselves and advised CIOs on leading complex transformational initiatives. With IBM and Cognizant, Steve honed his approach and demonstrated how dynamically partnering with clients can successfully drive lasting changes and reap the expected benefits.
With Impestra, Steve focuses on helping leaders and executives undergoing transformations, as well as driving interventions when companies need help to resolve a change hurdle and resume progress.
