At Impestra, Anne conducts research and analysis for customer projects as well as business development. She also keeps the business operations smooth and ensures that organizational requirements are fulfilled.

Samyn started her career with the New Technology Practice of the BIPE (French Office for Economic Forecast and Information) where she developed and managed reference databases and information systems on worldwide electric, electronic and industrial goods and services. She conducted primary and secondary multi-client as well as customized economic and market research studies, delivering sought after competitiveness assessments, industry profiles, market outlooks and public policy evaluations.
Joining Group Alpha Financial Audit & Consulting, Anne led corporate diagnosis (economic, financial and human resources), analysis of current and future competitive environment, market dynamics and strategic drivers. She intervened during several mergers & acquisitions as well as transnational restructurings.
Anne also identified and qualified companies interested in foreign direct investments and partnerships, fostering face-to-face meetings (in cooperation with the St Petersburg Economic Institute).
With Decision (a research and advisory firm specialized in Aerospace, Defense, Electronics & Energy), Anne coordinated the network of experts worldwide. She not only performed global comparative analysis on productivity, wages, vocational training or the effectiveness of the European Union Regional policies but also helped companies solve image deficits, control quality issues and evaluate new products.
With the Semoise Economic Development & Planning, Anne leveraged her passion for intelligent and sustainable development to set up and manage an Economic Observatory focused on using quantitative and qualitative data to help cities and economies in transition, eventually turning the Observatory into a profit center.
She initiated and facilitated a regional Developers’ Club fostering collaboration between private sector, chambers of commerce, cities, banks NGOs and elected officials on sustainable growth initiatives, while preparing monthly economic briefs for Meet The Press venues.
Anne has been the Resident US Expert for European consulting and advisory partner firms, initially focusing on the Electricity sector (generation, transmission & distribution) and renewable energies, and then developing Business Intelligence briefs and services as well as Opportunity Assessments to support her clients’ growth in North America.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Anne has been involved as a Program Officer for IVLP under the US State Department (International Diplomacy Council; IEE San Francisco) and supported information and technical literature exchanges with various NGOs in Western Africa.
